Me

My name is Sloane. My parents got my name from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I have an older brother who attends Iowa University. He’s pretty much my best friend. I graduated from Bell Elementary, which is very close to Lane. Only four people from my school came to Whitney Young. Most of my time outside of school is spent at either soccer or basketball. Last year I played on the JV basketball team and varsity soccer team. Over the summer I traveled to North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee for basketball tournaments, and Michigan and Indiana for soccer games. I can never decide which I enjoy more. I don’t read a lot in my free time but I do listen to a lot of music. I’m not a huge fan of the radio, as those songs are very overplayed. I REALLY like food. Bagels and buttered noodles are my favorite; I could live off only them. Grey’s Anatomy and How I Met Your Mother are my favorite shows. And The Blind Side is my favorite movie and I can quote the whole movie. If I could change one thing about myself, I would change my artistic ability, because mine is lacking. I wish I was able to just sit down and be creative.
